[ Homunculus ]

Homunculus (ホムンクルス) is a psychological horror series created and illustrated by Yamamoto Hideo. Susumu Nakoshi, a homeless man living out of his car between a luxury hotel and a public park, agrees to undergo an experimental trepanation surgery, having a hole drilled in his skull, which unlocks the grotesque ability to perceive human beings as visual manifestations of their innermost psychological trauma.
